ATV Camping

If ATV riding is your favorite pastime, we’ve got an adventure for you! Park your ATV and trailer at your campsite. At your convenience, ride directly from your campsite to our 43.3 mile state owned ATV Trail System. Take a pleasurable ride through our beautiful Susquehannock State Forest and keep your eyes open as wildlife is seen frequently. The trail system is designed for easy, enjoyable family riding and is made up of three-loops. The trails are numbered and a coordinating map is available.  Riding double is permitted. ATV's must be registered and insured. Persons under 10 years of age may not operate an ATV. Helmets required at all times.  There are no fees or permits to ride these trails. Sorry, no dirt bikes allowed on trails or in campground. Traditionally the ATV trails will be open from Memorial Day weekend through the last full weekend in September. For more information about the trails, you may contact the Susquehannock State Forest District Office at 814-274-3600.  Plan a couple of hours riding or spend an entire day.  This is a family experience everyone can enjoy from grandma to little Johnny. This is an addictive sport that will keep you coming back for more!  ATV clubs welcome. Hope to see you soon!
